Our Story

Innovative, inspired ideas for beautiful homes

Interior Affair creates inspirational interiors that exceed expectations at every level. Our full design service takes you from initial design ideas and concepts through to full implementation including décor, installing furniture and accessories. Projects are diverse and can range in scale from a single room in your house to the remodelling of your entire home.

Created by Elaine Jackson 20 years ago, Interior Affair has expanded into a highly reputable interior design practice specialising in residential and commercial projects.

Internationally we are currently working on a ski lodge in Chamonix, and a private residence in Portugal. Nearer to home an outstanding Apartment in a listed building in Jesmond Newcastle, and the complete refurbishment of a Boutique Hotel and restaurant in Yorkshire.

Interior Affair has put together an outstanding team of craftsmen, carpenters, tilers, builders, plumbers and decorators. As well as curtain makers who make exquisite soft furnishings - there's nothing Interior Affair can't do in terms of designing and implementing your dream home.

We will accessorise a room or your entire home down to the very last detail selecting stunning items that finish an interior and make it a home.

We select our accessories and products individually from major international shows, across Europe and beyond. We have developed an extensive and diverse supplier base from which we can source unusual accessories and items specifically for you. And, if we can’t find what you are looking for? We can design and manufacture bespoke pieces that are unique to you.

Our newly refurbished showroom on three floors has aspirational room settings. On the ground floor we have inspiring lighting, pictures, mirrors, sofas and accessories sourced from all over Europe.

On the first floor are pattern books of fabrics, wallpapers, rugs and bespoke carpets which will inspire you with original ideas to transform your home. We are located in the lovely Georgian village of Boston Spa in West Yorkshire.
